Happy Valentine's Day from Gotta Crop! We hope you had a wonderful day with your loved ones just celebrating....love!

As usual, we had a beautiful weekend at the Carmel Mission Inn. The hotel was so impressed with the whole weekend they took pictures of the event and put it up on their website! Thanks to our vendors Scrapbook Dreams, Anne at Creative Memories, Quincy at Q's World, and of course our Gotta Crop Shop! The spirit of Mardi Gras was in the air! Our scrapbookers were HOT, HOT, HOT! . Tabitha and Dawn from Clovis got some fun scrapbooking goodies for dressing up Mardi Gras style (check out those hats and boas!). They decorated their scrapping area, as well....it was really festive! The Scrapbooking Pin Up Girls...won our PJ Contest and we gave lots more prizes though out the weekend. Sandra from Magtime Frames was SO generous in and gave out many different frames and showed us how to use her wonderful product. (more about Mag Time later...). Our Queen of the Gotta Crop was Judy from Perris with her layout entitled "SOMETHIN MITHIN", the most precious layout about the tooth fairy. The Queen of the Gotta Crop was sponsored by The Stamp Bug of Salinas and Scrapbook Diva. Thanks to all the wonderful ladies that attended and made this Carmel Getaway very special!! Don't worry if you've missed out on Carmel in the past we are working again with the hotel for next January..keep watching!

Napa..Like a vintage wine, a destination to be savored. The fun at this Gotta Crop Getaway never stopped!! The fun started upon arrival, where guests were greeted with a lavish spread of cheese, crackers and fruit to snack on while they tasted the some of the finest wines from the Valley. Thanks to our wine tasting host Tom Pelter from the Calistoga Wine Stop, who kept the wine flowing and the smiles going! After dinner, it was movie night where we enjoyed popcorn and our "Chick Flick". Many of our attendees never slept, but stayed up all night long scrapbooking the night away. Saturday evening was or Crop Hop!...that started with a bunny HOP! Desree from Elk Grove, won the costume contest with an authentic poodle skirt and cat eye glasses. How cute is she?? Donna from Elk Grove won our hula hoop contest..wow..she could SHAKE IT! Our Queen of the Gotta Crop was Kimberly Walker from Concord, who was just so adorable! She was working so hard on her scrapbooks we had to call her name three times before she realized it was her! She was a little shocked to say the least. Congrats Kimberly! The Diva herself joined us in Napa and she crowned Kimberly with a tiara from ScrapbookDiva.com and we presented her with a tower full of embellishments donated by Celebrating Memories of Napa, thank you sponsors! Diva did the world's first eat and make n take, making valentine's out of Hershey kiss wrappers ...SO CUTE! It was a party atmosphere all weekend as we celebrated many 40th and 50th birthdays, 21 and everything in between. We are so honored that these ladies chose to spend there very special days with Gotta Crop! Thanks to our wonderful vendors, Scrapbook Diva, Leaving Prints, Bee Impressed, Creative Memories, Mag Time Frames, Q's World Scanning, The Gotta Crop Shop! and The Paper Mill. We are already looking forward to Napa next year!

Mark your calendars! LONG BEACH! - While we were in the L.A. area we looked at a wonderful hotel in Long Beach that has Gotta Crop written all over it! We are sorting out all the final details and we'll have more information for you very soon. October 24th-26th, 2003!

Pacifica 1 and 2 classes - We will have our Pacfica 1 and 2 classes up for registration on February 19th. Welcome packets will go out that same week.

Pacifica 3 July 18-20th - Will be officially open at the Scrapbook Expo in Orange (one more great reason to stop by our booth) and on our website on February 26th.

Open Getaways - Most of our getaways this year that are currently open are very close to being full. If your roomie has registered and you have not, please do so, so you don't miss out on all the fun and excitement. The following getaways are now open and excepting registrations:

Mag Time Frames - one of our new favorite products was created by Sandra Kay whom we have had the pleasure of getting to know at our Napa and Carmel events. We know she is going to try to attend as many Gotta Crop's as her schedule will allow so hopefully you'll get to meet her too. What are Mag Time Frames?
