cute are these ladies? We would like to give an extra special thanks to Kenne
from bringing a breathtaking bouquet of flowers to us and to everyone at
his table. Our grand prize winners were Sara from Henderson, NV who won a
Crop in Style Navigator and Carol from Tigard, OR who won an Italian Charm
Bracelet with Scrapbooking Charms and a Palm for Palm Springs! Lots of prizes
were given away and LOTS OF SCRAPBOOKING got done! Oh my goodness, we can't
forget John and Jill our Massage Therapists! What would we do without you?
(We're thinking we'd have severe neck and back pain!) Don't worry, if you
missed out on this event at this beautiful hotel in Palm Springs because we'll
be going back in 2003 and we hope to see you! 
It's HARVEST TIME IN LODI...Lodi Harvest Crop - By popular demand we will be having another one day event in Lodi, October 5th, Saturday 10:00am-9:00pm. The cost for the day is only $50.00 and it includes your scrapping area (1/2 of a 8 ft table), unlimited use of our Dream Center, shopping with our vendors, lunch, dinner, snacks and all the usual fun that goes with a Gotta Crop Event. Memories for the Making in Lodi will be giving us 10% off (certain items may not apply) at their store for Gotta Crop! attendees only. Tinkers Crop Room from Elk Grove will be at the event selling the latest scrapping goodies as well as Creative Memories On October 6th, Lodi has their bi annual Street Faire downtown which is lots of fun and a great way to get a jump on the Christmas shopping season. We know some of them are a year away, but many scrappers are using our payment plan, where every month we either, charge your credit card OR you have you send in a check. Ok..what happened to Newsweek? - Before our Pacifica in July Gotta Crop, we received a phone call from Newsweek Magazine, who interviewed Gotta Crop! for an article they were writing on Scrapbooking. They sent a photographer to our Pacifica event where he spend several hours just shooting our Saturday Night Luau. Since then we have been waiting, and waiting for this article to come out. The photographer said that they had the layout all completed one week and they pulled it at the last minute. It just depends on what is in the news that week whether or not this article will come out. Well of course we were just ecstatic and so were the attendees of our July Gotta Crop! Only to be disappointed every week when we look at the new issue and it's not there. Newsweek can not tell us when and if it will appear at this time, but to keep on checking! We've contacted the photographer who's work is just outstanding.(you can check out his website at www.edkashi.com ) He's traveling abroad, but when he returns we'll see about getting some photos to at least put up on the website. SO...don't give up hope, there still is a chance!! Just when we least expect it, it will probably be there. Sigh....

Deep Thoughts - You know what is so fantastic a Gotta Crop! getaway? It's so much MORE then just a getaway!! When you leave, not only do you have the memories of a fabulous weekend in a lovely resort hotel at a spectacular location, but you have the pride of accomplishment when you look at all of the wonderful scrapbook pages you did while you attended! Not to mention all of the inspiration you get from other attendees and the new life long friends that you will meet!
