Happy Scrapbooking Day!

WE ARE BACK...for a few weeks anyways! The last couple of months have been a whirlwind of activity for Gotta Crop!  Since January we’ve had five getaways, four expos, and HIA.  We’ve finally got a minute to breathe and to catch all of you up with what is going on here at Gotta Crop!

WELCOME to our newest members who joined us at the Orange Scrapbook Expo, San Jose Scrapbook Expo, Sacramento Scrapbook Convention and the Memories Expo in Las Vegas.  We enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing some of our regular Gotta Croppers!  Our next stop on the Expo trail, San Diego Scrapbook Expo June 26th-28th.  Stop by and register to win a Long Beach Gotta Crop! We gave away FOUR getaways at the expos!  Congratulations to our lucky winners :

Orange – Amber Morgenstern from Fontana, CA

San Jose – Denise Drummond from Folsom, CA

Sacramento – Jill Duffy from Modesto, CA

Las Vegas – Lucy Chan from Henderson, NV.

Jackson Gotta Crop! - Classes are posted and open for registration.  Remember, you get two FREE classes with every getaway package. Some fabulous classes planned include  Paper Bliss,SEI, Heavy Metal to teach you all about Scrapyard 329 our favorite embellishments and an All About Me class where you will create a page, all about YOU! Most scrapbookers tend to forget to do a page about themselves once in a while. The future generation will thank you for it. Welcome packets will be going out today and tomorrow. We will see you in the Gold Country soon!

We have a few getaways to catch you up on!  First Pacifica 1 in March

We've been so lucky to have just beautiful weekends in Pacifica.  We are always told while we are there that Pacifica never sees the sun, but it always seems to shine for our Gotta Croppers, ending the day with a spectacular sunset show. Saturday night was Luau night.  The Luau Piggies from the Sacramento area who for most creative outfits.  We have to say those just might be the most creative Luau costumes to date.  They didn't forget a thing, including the apples. Congrats to you all!  Our Queen of the Gotta Crop was Heather from Woodland with her layout entitled "WELCOMING SPRING". Heather was given a tiara from Scrapbook Diva and was showered with prizes from Scrapbook Depot in San Carlos.

Pacifica 2  As always our Gotta Croppers were pleasantly surprised when they arrived to see the beautiful ocean view.  Don't forget..free with every room at our Pacifica events..bright stars, fresh air, and the sound of waves caressing sand.  Oh, and of course non stop SCRAPBOOKING!!! Saturday was again Luau night and Angel from Rancho Cordova, won our costume contest. The Lady from Waihole returned to Gotta Crop, but this time without her watermelons!  Don't worry (scared you there for a minute..hee, hee), she had her pineapples. What's next Lady of Waihole??  Could it be Coconuts?   Our Queen of the Gotta Crop was Tammy Hugh from Concord with her lovely Tahoe Layout. We crowned Tammy with a tiara from ScrapbookDiva.com and we presented her with a large flowered hat box full of scrapbooking goodies donated by Scrapbook Nook from San Bruno. Thank you sponsors!  Sandra from Mag Time Frames was there to demonstrate her wonderful product and gave lots of frames away.  We are so lucky to have her at our event, thank you!

Thanks to our wonderful vendors for both of our Pacifica Events. Scrapbook Diva, Remember When from Vacaville/Pleasant Hill, Bee Impressed, Creative Memories, and of course Trina at The Gotta Crop Shop!  Kudos to Scott our Massage Therapist and Gigi our traveling make up artist with her painless eyebrow waxing and tweezing.  Thanks for making everyone look BEEUTIFUL!  Our instructors rock!!  Judy, Cheryl, Angi,  and Valerie ...great job ladies. Crew members Valerie, Cathryn, Trudy, Tricia, Tracy and Kim, thanks for all your hard work.  It will be time to return to Pacifica before you know it! YEAHH!!

We'll tell you all about our Tahoe event in our next newsletter.  I can tell you it involved lots of SNOW!

Upcoming Getaways - Space is limited at all of our events, and most open getaways are just about full.  Don't miss out and register today!

Featured Store - Stampbug, Salinas, CA - Our most recent Featured Store is Stampbug from Salinas.  When you are in the Monterey area this summer, be sure to stop by and visit the owner Becky Carillo.  Stampbug has ordered from over 200 scrapbooking/stamping manufacturers to bring you the widest selection of products in the area. Tell them Gotta Crop! sent you. Read all about Stampbug .

Always Imitated, Never Duplicated - It has come to Gotta Crop's attention that there are many Gotta Crop! imitators "cropping" up here and there. We want to thank all of our Gotta Croppers for choosing us.  Remember, Gotta Crop has the most experience in planning scrapbook getaways and it shows.  We have planned over 30 events in the last 3 years as the pioneer company in the West for these type of events.  Gotta Crop! also strives to give you the best quality event for your money.  Keep in mind everything that a Gotta Crop! includes and know that you will not find that anywhere else.   Due to the popularity of our events Gotta Crop has plans to expand all over the United States and beyond!  Watch for a Gotta Crop! event near you soon.  Thousands of scrappers can't be wrong.  Here's what some recent attendees have said  about our events:

I felt this weekend was perfect.  Classes showed us great ideas and pages that would be used and not stored away.  Nice size, as in warm, cozy and intimate.  Gotta Crop! ladies are always helpful and ready to help. Well Done! - Judy, Orovada, NV - Tahoe, April 03

M-O-T-H-E-R
"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.
-Howard Johnson

Happy Mother's Day to all of our Gotta Croppers!

We hope to see you at a getaway soon! YOU DESERVE IT!
