Gotta Crop! has a very exciting and special announcement to make hopefully in the next few days. You ladies that went to Pacifica and know what we are talking about...we don't know for sure all the details yet but we should have the NEWS for everyone by the beginning of next WEEK. Stay tuned!
WOW, WOW, WOW!! That's all we can say about our July Pacifica "Scrap with a View"! The talented ladies that attended scrapped away the weekend to the sounds of the islands and a view of the calming ocean on Saturday night during our Luau Crop Party. The Lady of Waihole visited again, and we are telling you this won't be the last you see of her!! Special thanks to our vendors Remember When from Vacaville and Pleasant Hill, Ann Livingston from Creative Memories, and our FABULOUS instructors Judy, Betty, Angi and Trina!! Our new reigning Queen of the Gotta Crop was Leah from Harbor City, CA and our grand prize winner was Rachel from Salinas who won a CIS Navigator and Cynthia from Concord who won a Xyron, CONGRATULATIONS LADIES! Our PJ Contest winners were Luscious, Tart and Juicy aka Patti from Chula Vista, Angie from Poway and Laurie from Orlando, FL..they were just too cute! And our theme party winner was Kelle from Fremont who dressed as a Hawaiian Paper Kin....you clever girl! An extra big hug to all our attendees who were so warm and wonderful, we hope to see you all again VERY, VERY soon..wink, wink!
Extra props to our traveling massage therapist Scott, who is getting married on the 24th to Kim. They got engaged while at our Las Vegas 2002 Getaway at the Venetian in a gondola (i hear violins..how romantic!). Best Wishes and much happiness to you both!
The BayArea Scrapbook Expo is next week already! Make sure you stop by our booth #88 and sign up to win a Gotta Crop Getaway to Carmel in January! Wear your Gotta Crop! T shirt to the Expo and come to our booth, we'll have a special little scrapbooking goodie for you! ALSO (wait...it gets even better)..anyone wearing their Gotta Crop T Shirt to the Expo and stops by our booth will have their name entered in a drawing to win a Italian Charm Bracelet with a Gotta Crop Bee Charm! We are also giving a Gotta Crop Tote away to anyone who registers for a getaway at the Expo. We'll see you August 16-17th at the Scrapbook Expo in Pleasanton, we'll be the booth that's rockin to the oldies...
Palm Springs Classes and Schedule will be up this weekend online. Welcome packets are being completed and sent out as well. The final balance for the Palm Springs Getaway will be due August 30th. See you in the desert, we have lots of great fun in store for you! We have spots still available, it's not too late to sign up!
Lodi Harvest Crop - By popular demand we will be having another one day event in Lodi, October 5th, Saturday 10:00am-9:00pm. The cost for the day is only $50.00 and it includes your scrapping area (1/2 of a 8 ft table), unlimited use of our Dream Center, shopping with our vendors, lunch, dinner, snacks and all the usual fun that goes with a Gotta Crop Event. On October 6th, Lodi has their bi annual Street Faire downtown which is lots of fun and a great way to get a jump on the Christmas shopping season. Make it a mini getaway weekend! See our website to register and for more information.
Now open for business...The Gotta Crop Shop! We'll be carrying sterling silver scrapbooking charms, Italian charms, Take N Makes, T Shirts, Totes, and some other must have scrapbooking items. The Gotta Crop Shop will be traveling to all of our Getaways in the future. Now you can get an Italian charm for every Gotta Crop! you attend (a shell for Pacifica, a sailboat for Coronado, a slot machine for Las Vegas, grapes for Napa or Lodi just to name a few). Take a look at our Special Offer for Scrapbookers!!
And finally....we've been working hard on our 2003 schedule. Negotiations with all of our hotels are just about finished and we know you will be very pleased at all the incredible places we will be going! Here's the schedule with more details on the specific Getaways to follow.
